Successful demonstration of a siren system for the MoWaS public warning system
PASS-Medientechnik successfully demonstrated a warning system based on the MH-360-4 360° loudspeaker and the APC-550 power amplifier.
Under the watchful eyes of participants from the professional fire brigade of a large German city, the amplifier was controlled directly by a digital TETRA siren control receiver. The control receiver triggered both the siren signals and announcements stored directly in the amplifier.
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides power to the entire system, including the control receiver, for 72 hours.
The compact components make the system ideal for integration into digital advertising media in city centres.
